Our customers asked for a spicier chorizo so we created the Extra Piquante. But some asked for an even spicier chorizo. We experimented with some of the hottest chillis in the world and finally (after some pain!) settled on our ingredients. We start with the outright heat of the Ghost Chilli Pepper and then complement that with the fruity inferno of the hottest chilli in the word – the Caroline Reaper. To this furnace we blend in Arbol Chilli to give greater depth to the flavour.
Using the same rare breed tamworth pork and traditional curing techniques as our original chorizo - which won a 3 Star Great Taste award in 2018.
